This black internal release compression lock is designed for storage compartments and access doors where both external security and a way to open from inside are needed. The flush-mounted body sits neatly against the panel, while the compression action helps draw the door closed against the included gasket.
From outside, the lock operates with a thumb press and secures with a key. From inside, the built-in release provides an override—even if the lock has been keylocked externally. That feature makes it a practical choice for enclosed trailer and camper spaces where someone may need to exit or access the compartment from within.
The black powder-coated finish suits rugged outdoor builds, including camper trailers, 4WD canopies, toolboxes and utility storage systems. If you purchase more than one, the locks are keyed alike for convenient access.
