Tradie Ute Dimensions

Our complete tradie ute build is manufactured from 3.0mm and 4.0mm high grade aluminium.

The dimensions of our trays are:

• 1750mm x 1850mm 

Aluminium tradesman trailer features

Powdered or non-powdered

Our trailer trays come in both powder coated black and non-powdered varieties to suit your preference. If you’re not sure which option is right for your specific application, ask the Trailer Parts Direct team. 

Spray painting packs

A 2-pack spray painting is available with your trailer ute. To find out more about the spray painting options, please contact our team.

Checker and flat sheets

Our trays are customisable right down to the finest details. The 3.0mm aluminium checker plate tray and the 4.00mm flat sheets are both available for integration in the back of your ute.  

Wheel guards

The high quality 4.0mm aluminium wheel guards are built to last and protect your wheels no matter where you go or where your adventure takes you.

MAXILAMP lights

High powered and high functioning, the rear-mounted MAXILAMP lights ensure long-term and reliable visibility for work or play.

Custom Headboard

While not standard on all aluminium tradesman trailers, the 75.00mm headboard is an optional addition that will help protect your vehicle and the contents of your ute. 

Double tapered side boxes

Another optional feature, the double tapered side boxes come in a variety of lock-types, including the classic whale tail lock. All side boxes are pinchweld water proof and dust proof thanks to its hardy sealing, and they feature a black rear fixing hinge.

Of course single taper tool boxes are also available for integration within wheel arches offering stacks of internal storage. Tapered side boxes are available in both a black and chrome finish. 

Aluminium under tray drawers

If you want even greater functionality and versatility in the way you use and operate your trailer ute, the custom aluminium under tray drawers are an optional addition. Whale tail locks and others are available, along with a heavy duty 227kg series drawer slides. The double fold with pinchweld water proof and dust proof seals will ensure nothing gets through that you don’t want. 

The drawers come with a choice of both checker plate or flat sheet faces and an optional lift up lid. Beneath the lid there is plenty of protected storage. The drawer sits inconspicuously and conveniently behind the number plate panel (for whale tails) without compromising easy and convenient access. All strap hinges, gudgeon and nylon brushes, as well as the spring loaded fasteners are made from heavy duty stainless steel. All drawers come with easy mounting flanges.

Note: that the size of the drawer and pull out table are dependent on the size of the water tank. The larger the tank, the less room there will be for the length of the tray.

Rope rails

Rope rails are also available for applications with tapered boxes and square light housing, though this is not compatible with double tapered boxes.

Rear window protector

Not only do our trailer utes look great, they function well too! The rear window protector will keep everything where it needs to be and your back window safe and sound in one piece.

3L water tank

The trailer boasts a 3-litre water tank compatibility with breathability and easy access. The marine grade tank from Dunn & Watson ensures great flow out of the rear water tank faucet and water storage. 

Stainless steel lever centres

The heavy duty lever centres are made from high quality stainless steel, as are the strap hinges to ensure your ute can keep up with what you need it to do.

Custom steel arches

Whether you want a full Dunn & Watson fit out or simply want to incorporate custom steel arches–or any of our other components–we can adjust your order to fit you exact specifications and requirements. 

Anchor track integration

The internal ute tray offers anchor track integration and tie down accessories for when you need to adjust your carrying capacity for smaller loads and items.

Stainless steel lip fold over

Not only does the stainless steel fold over on the top lip of the tray look amazing, it offers valuable protection to your aluminium tradesman trailer.
