The Dunn & Watson Chrome-Plated Trailer Compression Latch with Internal Release is designed for doors and compartments that need keyed access from outside and a release from within. The thumb-press mechanism provides straightforward external operation, while the key lock helps secure the compartment.
A built-in internal release provides an override: it allows the lock to be opened from inside even when it has been keylocked from outside. This is a useful feature for enclosed camper and trailer spaces where someone may need to operate the latch internally.
The flush-mounted body has a polished chrome-plated finish and compression-action closure. An included gasket helps resist water and dust ingress around the closed panel.
